We promote osteopathy

Promoting osteopathic treatment is central to our charitable mission: improving the health and wellbeing of babies, children, teenagers, and families through specialist osteopathic care.

The Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) was established to make osteopathic treatment more accessible, particularly for families who may not otherwise be able to afford it.

We also support the development of safe, evidence-informed paediatric osteopathic practice. We believe that osteopathy can play a valuable role in supporting children’s comfort, movement, development, and overall wellbeing when delivered by appropriately trained practitioners such as osteopaths at the OCC.

Our goals

As a charity, we do not exist to generate profit for shareholders. Instead, any income we make through donations directly supports patient care.

Promoting the benefits of osteopathy also includes continuously improving and growing our postgraduate education courses and CPD courses, expanding community outreach, and collaborating with other osteopathic/healthcare institutions that contribute to research activities aligned with our mission.

We support ongoing research, transparency, and professional regulation as important parts of responsible healthcare delivery.

Our aim in promoting osteopathy is to ensure that families are aware of the services we offer and the approach to care we believe can benefit many children and families.
